«PETER I»
To celebrate the anniversary of Peter the Great, the Visuals team has prepared an exhibition about the first Russian emperor, his reforms and their significance in shaping Russia as a strong player on the world stage, and about the new vectors of development that the first Russian emperor chose.
We have developed the conceptual and architectural concept, artistic layout of the exhibition, designed the scenario for visitor experience, designed interactive installations and technical setups, created the content, supervised the construction, installed and commissioned the equipment with our own team.
CONCEPT
The main theme of the exhibition is the theme of choice. Peter the Great made numerous ambiguous and difficult decisions – quickly, decisively, and efficiently.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES
DESIGN
As a general visual metaphor, a polygonal wave was chosen. The wave represents
the primary association with Peter the Great image: ships, St. Petersburg, naval victories.

The polygonal shape visualizes the multifaceted nature of both Peter the Great personality and his innovations.
SPACE DESIGN
The basic stylization of the space is monochrome, showcasing all the elements just through texture and volumes, using a single material. Immersion is achieved through thematic hall design, recreating the look of a village, a city of that time period, and a shipyard.
USER SCENARIO
VISITING ITINERARY
The visitor is placed in the context of a crisis situation and must choose between several equally important options. The choice is not obvious.
PERSONAL WALKTHROUGH
CHOICE ARCHES
In order to make a choice, a visitor simply walks through one of the arches. The software compiles the collected data into an overall system. Visitors' choices affect the scenario of the final projection performance and photomechanics.
CHOICE SCREENS
To interact with the question screens, you need to hold your badge to one of the nearby readers. The photomechanics in the final screen will remind the visitor of all his decisions and offer him a suitable position in Peter’s court: Admiral, Prosecutor General, Chief Secretary of the Senate, or Treasurer.
"CHOICE" SHOW
The final projection area is devoted to the conclusions after going through the question and choice arches. Summing up, a reflection on the complexity of Peter’s choices and his main resources: the Power of Mind, the Human Experience, and Time.
AI PHOTOMECHANICS
At the end of the exhibition, there were photomechanics screens where visitors could see themselves as the ruler of an empire.
TECHNICAL SCHEME
The principle of collecting feedback from exhibition visitors, on the basis of which the final show and photomechanics is launched.
INTERACTIVE INSTALLATIONS
FIDGITAL ACTIVITIES
Controllers that allow you to interact with the content through physical actions: rotating, moving, switching (modern phygital technologies).
"Live" graphics that allow users to interact with the content throughout the exhibition.

"PETER'S DREAMS" SHOW
The period of the future ruler's formation is presented in an atmospheric hall with moving shadowy images. Peter’s dreams, hopes, and fears are depicted through projections onto the sails of the future frigates of the first Russian emperor.

MULTIMEDIA SHOW «PETER THE STRONGMAN»
The 4-minute show tells the story of Peter’s growing up, his “poteshny” regiments, his famous little boat, and his first victory – the capture of the Turkish fortress of Azov.
SETUP
The setup consists of a 270° mapping with a movable platform and a polygonal podium.

«RESULTS» DOME SHOW
The dome show sums up the reign of Peter the Great. “The symbolic ship built by Peter reached the sea and its new port, St. Petersburg opened up new routes to and from Russia, marking the beginning of international cultural and trade communication."
